Default Vig2800 ?

My car has a lid, cutout, and is a A4 with 3.23 gears. I currently can run consistant low 8.2's and a handful of high 8.1's in the 1/8 at 89.5 mph on F1's. My question is if I get a vig2800 will I see very much improvement in my times? If so how much? I have a friend that says I won't see very much because my car already runs good. Will it be worth the investmentor should I go with a higher stall and why?
Thanks, Larry

4 to 6 tenths. When I had my 2800 (pre cam) I would run 7.8 in the 1/8 at 88mph on 3.23's and 12.1 in the 1/4.

It would definitely be worth it. I'm getting a Vig 2800 installed tomorrow and should have some 1/4 mile times real soon.

I am at home now. Tht is why my logon is different. My 60' times average around 1.96 to 1.98 with a best of 1.91
I know it does not seem like it could be true that this car runs this good. I have made belivers out of alot of sceptics at the track. I have plenty of time slips and if you can find anybody on this site that goes to Dorchester drag strip in South Carolina I am sure some of them have seen my car run. It is a red WS6 convertible with a peanut butter color top.

The Vig 2800 will be a good daily driver converter and feel pretty good. Whether you move up a Yank ST 3500 or a Vig 3200 will depend upon your goals and tires.

damn 8.2's for a stock car is unreal, but then i notice you have a 01 so then again its possible..

i say a 2800 may get ya some 7.8's.. but you wont see the drastic drop as us 98-00's see sicne you already have a huge ET advantage.. and it takes more power to start dropping et's once you get in the 7's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

but i would get a 3200 vig... then she would rock!!
