Default H/C with A4 Guys Come in

Please post what kind of gas mileage you heads and cam guys with A4 and stalls are averaging per tank. What kind of city and highway mileage are yall getting and what size stall do you have. Thanks in advance.

You would probably get more responses in the auto trans forum.

I don't have heads, but I have a 4k rpm converter, 3.23s, all the usual bolt ons, and a mild cam. Mine is also a 98 with the smaller tank, on the highway I could get around 260 miles to the tank. City driving I might be able to get 200 before I hit E. I've never run it all the way down to nothing to find out.

Scratch that, it's probably more like 180 at most in the city.

It depends on the cam setup, tuning and driving style. A properly tuned h/c on the highway can get the same mpg as a bolton car. Now aggressive city driving is another story. The gas guage moves every time a get on it. lol.
