bad converter??

Had the exact same thing happen to me. Took the verter out and sent it back in. The lockup clutchlining inside the converter was toltaly sheered off. I won't say the brand because they treated me right, but I did have to rebuild the tranny all over. I did have the tune already so this wasn't the issue for me. Oh well....live and learn. Buy something cheap and thats whats to be expected! Traver

that's what hopefully will happen for me taken care of I mean bc I kept being told not the converter this this this and non of it fixed it
