Default P0300 code- Can this be from a converter please help

I have been getting a engine missfire code P0300. There has been no SES light, but found it while ataping. The car has 6500 miles on it so plugs or wires should not be the issue. Can my converter be causing this? I have a Yank ST3200 and the codes have appeared after the install. The car also sometimes will stall when in reverse.
Please help.
Thanks
Marco

you might need to get your idle raised. does it misfire at idle, or at a higher rpm?

The computer may not have adjusted to the lighter weight of the converter. Clear the computer and do the idle relearn.
