Ultra Thruster 4600....
that converter and 4.10's with 28" e.t. drags still is not the best for a bolt on car. BUT, what about when i add the cam (224/224 581/581 114) Will that converter be ok along with that? Or should i still wait and go for the TP4400? Thanks.
Chris
Since you will be using it in your car with the stock setup.. I would go with the TP-4400. It will be great with both setups.

Thats good info u got Paul
If you were seeing 6000 drops on a 6800 shift point then a 4600 would theorectically drop me to 5800,THATS WHERE I WANNA BE,1000rpm off my shift point is ideal for my setup.
Will see?

Paul I wouldve put a 430 or lower gear in and then tried your UT.It wouldve gotten alittle tighter and worked better according to Mike. But I agree,4800 is too much.

Plus at the time my cae was seeing 100% street duty so that was out of the question.
You'll probably see about 5800 or so on shifts with the UT4600. My PT4400 is dropping back to about 5500 now. My power and torque band are so wide on my motor I really think that should help me. I just don't think I was using enough of my motor with the UT4800. Good luck.
