94 formy, transmission shift botton..

94 formy, transmission shift botton.. well I just got hte car last month it has a 2800 rpm stall anda shiftkit on it.. I was wondering if leaving this performance shift botton would make a differencehooked up??

i knwow hat you're talking about im also wonderign the same thing if you put a shift kit in it wihtt he "performance mode"button still enabled will the shifts be twice as hard and will it be to much for the tranny mount or the actualy tranny itself?
