Default shift kit affect tune?

i got a tune at texas speed this spring and the line pressure was bumped up a tad, will adding a shift kit do any harm since the pressure was raised?

I wouldn't run both. Modify it mechanically or electronically, not both.

My friend did both ... and something was wrong so I gave him a call and he said he programmed it to shift at 6000 rpm but after the shift kit it shifted at 5500 rpm the performance shop said that it`s not good to make both of them and he still did`t fix the problem .... my opinion (wich is without a real life experience is rais the shifting point with the programming and don`t raise the pressure) as it says when you use a hypertech programmer.

I have both and it works great. Shift points, shift timing, lock-up speed can all be adjusted electronically and it's not going to matter if you have a shift kit or not. The only supposed no-no is electronically raising line pressure if you have a shift kit. But the advisability of doing that would depend on how much you have after installing the shift kit.
