M6 console with A4??
M6 console with A4?? I've been thinking of this for a while but I'm not 100% sure if it will fit. I've seen several A4 guys use a boot from m6 cars to make it look better and also fix the rattling noise from the plastic slides next to the a4 shifter. heres a link to a guy that installed a boot on his a4 console and it looks pretty good. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=boot+a4
I want to take it a step further and swap out the entire center console to a M6 console..shift **** and all( I hate the look of a A4 console/shifter). Will an m6 console work with an A4??? anyone done this???

The only thing I can think of that might be different is the mounting clips around the boot area. Maybe the M6 guys could chime in on this

ive heard u cant get into 1-2 without cutting the piece back a lil. ive debated doin this as well since mine rattles to much, ill prolly just go with something like in the above link
