Default Weird Vibration...Bad convertor or flywheel?

My car starting making this weird, ould droning noise. Can't really tell where it's coming from. Only happens at 2500rpm, then seems to die out but not completely from there up. It's really noisy in the car, and you can also feel it. I put the car in neutral and revved up to 2500 and it was still there, so I ruled out driveline. Any idea if the convertor or flywheel could be the cause? It's a stock convertor in a stock 4L60e with over 100K miles.

Later model flexplates crack more easily than the
original style; don't know which side of this the
2000 is on. I put a '98 on mine. You might be able
to inspect the webs through the little hole, look
for some of the "cracked flexplate" threads to find
pics of the typical fail-point.
