Factory settings are 29mph for 1st gear kickdown w/3.23's if I remember right. With tuning software you can change this. I've tuned mine to downshift to 1st all the way up to 42mph, but that requires a higher shift point/rev limiter than stock--and that's pretty useless with the stock cam. With stock cam/shift points/rev limiter I'd imagine you can go to 35mph or so.

hmm...29mph huh...I think it is more like 32mph....Most of the time at 32mph I can get it to kick down, but I usually just make sure I am at 30mph because I sucks a whole lot when your expecting a 3 to 1 kickdown

Mine won't do it over 30ish so that sounds right. I'm going to have it bumped to 35.
And yup the 3-2 shift really sucks. I hate having to slow down to start a roll race so 35 should be perfect. Also will bump 4th up to 45 so i'm not in 4th gear when in the "OD" selection (which is what you want to use for racing).
