Decode this 4L60E for me, please.
I have the chance to pick up a 4L60E locally from a shop at a helluva price. Unfortunately, they don't have a definitive answer as to what vehicle it was removed from. I've gotten this info that was found on the case sticker:
7CJD
617CJDY 18875914
7022C
24201589
Can someone make sense of this? Thanks.

Part numbers don't mean ****, it's all about the build number. Three numerical digits followed by an alpha character (top line of the tag).
My Formula has 8FFB. The above references a '97 5.7L full-size GM truck, extended cab according to the decoder list I linked to.

Dont see the exact code you posted, but with that thread you should be able to figure out which code you need to figure it out.

Look at my picture in post #2:

If the trans has that 300mm input shaft, which corresponds to the bolt hole in the 12 O'clock position, it will work with any LS engine between '98 and '06; otherwise it will not directly bolt up. You also need to make sure the trans is for 2WD or 4WD, which ever you need.
Also see my post #2 for more details:

Thanks, I did find that thread before hand, but thought it was weird it didn't have my number. My trans does NOT have any stickers on still. I believe it has been rebuilt and repainted.
