Yank also makes a 3000/2.2 which is the stall/STR combo I have and it drives really well on the street - but I also have 3.42's. With 2.73's, it's going to feel looser, so I'd go with a lower stall/higher STR converter if a tight feeling is important.

3200.

And you have heard a few bad reviews on Fuddle's customer service. Think about all the good reviews that probably never get posted. They definately out weigh a few bad ones.

Go with a higher str like 2.4 with those gears. Drag radials are street tires right? Even if you don"t want to run those Eagle F1 gsd3 are good sticky street tires.

Higher stall converter isn"t going to make or break a 4l60e.

I just put in the Yank 3000 (feels like 2300) with the 2.2 and I have 2.73s. Im not completely convinced but the times dont lie (13.6 to 13.3 w/2.1 60' I need tires ) and I had to almost just let it roll off the line and then get in it. My tires were brand new cheap Kumho Ecstas and they suck on a unprepped track (2.0 best 60') but I can hammer it on most streets and it tries to do pretty good. With Drag Radials I believe in 12s Just last week I raced a 96 vette (LT1, A4 w/3.42s) After spanking their *** 6 times from a digg I took them to the highway and it just made them sick. I now its an LS1 vs LT1 but my buddy and his dad just thought that there was no way my Camaro could touch their (I think it was their Boss' and they just claim it lol) Vette. It was a nice car with 50k. My whole point = Atleast 3000 or BIGGER and some tires.
