Question th350 to ls1 bellhousing?

I've searched through the site here plenty, and done alot of reading.

However, I haven't been able to find much in the way of bellhousing information.

Is there a specific year, etc that I should be looking for to make this work?

And with the swap into an ls1, is it necessary to have the GM crank spacer? I know some of the 400 guys are using that.

I appreciate any help you guys can provide.

All turbo 350 will have the same bolt pattern and the top right bolt will be deleated because there is no hole in the block for it.As for a crank spacer that is only if you have a convertor from an old school SBC then you need to have the spacer.I run a coan and my convertor was bulit for a LS1 so no spacer is nessary.BTW my turbo 350 is a shortshaft and the only diffrence is that your drivshaft will be a diffrent lenth.Whatever way you decide to go the driveshaft will have to be custom made.

Thanks for the quick reply. That pretty well answers my questions for now.

Hopefully this "project" will be done sometime next week.

All things being equal.
How much ET did you pick up from going to a T350 over the stock 4L60E?
How about MPH?

(Or was your car a 6-speed?)

Thanks
