Im thinking it would launch pretty easily and run a high trap. Also seems like a rather good highway setup. I realize 3.73's would be better, however im just not gonna put them in my daily interstate driven car yet

You guys running good times with this combo out there?

Thanks!

So I guess you already have the SY3500 and are just looking for how much you'll gain by going to 3.42 gears, right?

I think you'll pick up around 2 tenths and 1-2 mph. If you didn't have traction problems then, you will have them now, haha.

With 3.42s: You'll gain off the line, have more power at 45 - 70 mph and 100 - 130 mph, but give up a little in the 75 - 95 range.

The car will also feel tighter and a little more responsive at part throttle.

You don't have a clue what you want to do, do you?

Guess well see in bout a week!

Can you drive? You can take a lot of his cash if you learn how to hook up the YTP on the street.

His current combo of a SY 3500 & 2.73s is pretty easy to launch hard on the street. If I were him, I'd set up the race to go from a dead start to about 85 - 90 mph.

But i havent tried to launch the YTP4400 with the 3.42's yet because it isnt quite in yet! Im hoping i can pedal it and still launch pretty hard without ET streets. Im riding on the widest Nitto you can get as we speak, but i know im going to have to baby it out of the hole anyway. Even if i launch like a baby think ill be able to reel him in... hopefully
