well so i finally came to the conclusion that its slower to preload the stock conv. if i just anticipate the light and dump the pedal from an idle i get a faster jump then brake standing it. i tried over and over, but now have to change my brakes if i brake it the car spins through first rather than when i dump it it spins until about 3000 rpm's anyone disagree?

ohhh and what also works well is if you stop at the light and hold the brakes while pumping the pedal three times, it makes use of the triple bypass converter regulator while still preloading the inacuator servo accumulators. if this is done right your electronic engine manifold deffibulator can raise the engine output torque range to about 3500 rpm's. when you dump the pedal the engine component sensor reads well above regular there for it raises the air regulator mass sensor allowing the intake manifold to correct the y-junction interconnect. well all in all it work so DO IT!

I'll have to try that, as soon as I install that flux capacitor for better flux dispersion banding.

did that in my 68 years ago. the ONLY day I hasnt trying to screw around in it (on my way to get touch up paint). I was entering a entrance ramp to the parkway and throttle stuck. not a problem happend before. instead of just turning it off (wouldnt unstick-just got stuck on the floor after trying) i attended to put it in neutral and turn it off. I missed N and put it in R at 70mph! engine tacked like never before- I didnt know i had it R. started spinning the tires backwards. let me tell you handle a skid with the tires in wrong motion is hard as hell especially at those speeds. great th350 held up. the tire broke loose and left a mark the KSP had to measure with his odeometer-just shy of 660ft! after an 1/8th mile the car ran off the road and slammed into the ditch flipping me around. hard hit! had rubber all over the doors. that was 1999 and i still gotta see a chiropractor. sorry for the long post just had to warn anybody thinking about it.

j/k but i do have a question If you have a 3500 stall, and you just step on it without/brake stall etc. are you still gonna roast the tires?

Probably even worse than if you brake-stalled it up to preload the suspension/chassis.

use to do that with my slant 6 75 dodge dart. i tried everything to kill it and couldn't.
55-60mph reverse drops, sometimes the vehicle would just die others it would grab and i'd leave one wheel wonder marks for a few hundred feet . aaahhh the good ol days.

those slant 6's were built like tanks, and could take damn near anything. hell i ran it up to 110mph in 3rd gear once. was shaking a bit until i shifted it into D and then it smoothed out. was my first car and got no respect, now i wish i had it back so i could put my 383cid in it.

for launching i'd hold tighten everything up till just before your tires start to break loose then let it fly.
