Alright im still somewhat new to the ls1 FUN, i bought mine mm 10 months ago, from owning a 01 built gt..

Heres the thing , i have an nice good M6 in my 00 ws6.. but it sucks watching my friends in A4's going 5-6 tenths faster with less mods..

So, i keep searching in threads looking to see whats needed, but then theres different A4s.. Now im lost..

I want an overdrive and i will be matching a 4000 stall in it..

My mods are in my sig, Maybe in the future a cam, And MAYBE. a 100 shot if that..

What is needed in the swap, i know a harness,and new console ..And where could i get one new or something..

id say get a 9" or 12bolt with some 4.10's and a good healthy cam and stick with the 6speed. unless you just suck at driving and there is no hope for you what so ever (not saying that you do, just saying IF YOU DO). i personally love the t56 (friends car that i drive as much as he does) the next car i purchase with have one.

an example of what i'm talking about, the guy has a 01' formy with small heads & cam, boltons, 4.10's, d-radials. i can get in his car at any given moment and run 1-4tenths faster than him (not powershifting) and i weigh a good 150lbs more than he does, and i am by no means the best driver.

 

Honestly, i do suck at driving an m6, .. plus i like the whole Stall/ Auto setup ... its cool as hell ..

 

dude, if i wasnt leaving for japan in a few days, i'd say, come down to yuma, i'd lodge you and well swap everything over. My a4 for your 6spd..damn damn damn..
