How hard is it to pull the trans in a 2000 Z28 A4? Can it be done in with jack stands? I have heard that you have to have a lift. Thanks

 

im sure it can be done, probably want two guys under neath to help grab the tranny when you try to pull it off (sometimes they hang up on the dowels). The car would have to be pretty freakin high to if you want to get the tranny out from under the car. I've always used a lift and tranny jack myself, i know guys that have done it on jackstands though. Good luck!
