Default Question on code P0757 Shift Solenoid B Stuck On

I've got an '01 TA WS6, the SES light came on a couple days ago, so today I used a friends scanner and got the following:

P0757 Shift Solenoid B Stuck On

I don't know a lot about engines, so I was hoping that someone could tell me how serious of a message this is. The car starts up fine every time without any problems. Also, what would have to be done to fix this. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Car is an A4 no stall converter installed.

I got a similar code after I put my stall in, but it shifts just fine so I didn't really do anything about it. It's common after you put a stall in, but in your case it might be an issue since you haven't done anything to the car.

Thanks for the info guys. Any idea how much a trans shop is going to charge me to replace the Solenoids.

If you know how to change your fluid and filter, then you can change the solenoid. It's in the same place. The only tool you need is a needle nose pliers, and the solenoid is only about $25.
