Default What To Do???

My friend is selling his TCI SSF 3500 TC. He sent the converter back to TCI to get rebuilt, and he is selling for $350......what do you all think???? I'm still not sure........thanks

I think I'd pay the extra $100 bucks or so, to have a
warranty and some entitlement to customer service if
things turn out to be not so great.

On the other hand if it were reworked with a better
(bigger) than standard clutch, that would be worth
something. Not too commonly done though possible.
If it's the standard clutch, old or replaced, I think I'd
pass.

Other than that it seems like not that big a price
break for something that's between used and reman.

Hell, I gave away my used SF3000.

He switched his car from an auto to a manual transmission, so thats his reason for selling it....

just get a fuddle racing converter for 50 bucks more. have the warranty and choose what size stall you want.

Not to mention with a new vig,yank,fuddel,or tci you also get the option for a restall. Some of these might be a little more money but warrenty with customer service goes a long way in my book. Good luck, Vince.
