Default Possible slipping trans...

Well Ive been driving around the car kinda carefully because of another problem I am having, but Im starting to think that my trans is slipping when I get on it. It doesnt happen all the time, and is fine when Im driving around normally. Just occasionally when I step on it, it will hesitate and sounds like the RPMS are rising (tach doesnt work) but the car isnt going anywhere. I though it was just being slow/not downshifting but the more I think about it, it seems a little more like slippage. I checked the fluid and the level seems fine. The kicker is the trans probably doesnt have a 1000 miles on it since it was remanufactured. Its a stock 4L60E and I have a 3800 Midwest stall 3.0 STR...and once again it doesnt happen every time I get on it. Any ideas on how I can tell for sure whats going on??

Thanks,
Chris
