Default Stock Cooler Heating Fluid

My Car Coolant Temps Are Always Arround 200 Deg.. Wouldent This Cause The Stock Tranny Oil Cooler To Actually Heat My Tranny Fluid ?

I Dont Know If Its Related But It Seems My Tranny Runs Hotter Whenever My Coolant Is Running Hot ....

I Was Thinking Just To Completly Bypass The Stock Cooler But Am Not Sure If This Would Help Or Hurt My Tranny Temps ( I Do Also Run 2 24000 Gvw Coolers Mounted After The Stock Cooler In Front Of The Condenser)

i bypassed my stock cooler this weekend with a 28000#supercooler. i don't have a gauge, so i cant help you on that part, but it seems simple to me that what you said would hold true. if you live in a colder climate, or use as a dd, winter temps could keep your trans from reaching operating temp sooner. i don't drive mine when cold, so it doesn't matter to me. another way to look at it...its 2 less lines to unhook from the radiator if you tear back down into the motor. just my .02

It's pretty simple, if radiator is hotter than ATF then ATF
will be heated. If the cooler is later, ATF will be radiator
less some drop. If cooler is before then ATF may end up
hotter than it left the cooler. I run it this way anyhow,
for no especially good reason. But it comes down to fan
control then, what your trans fluid temp will end up at.

as an update.. that made a huge ******* difference in my temps i mean like a 30+ deg drop... i currently have 2 coolers with a combined caparity ov about 45,000 gvw of cooling .. before that wasnt enough but now it will brobaly be a little too much come wintertime... if so i may go back to 1 24,000 gvw cooler as now that i rerouted the flow my coolant temps are sitting in the 170 range (compared to above 200 in same weather)
