This is the main reason I chose a TH400.
I could never rebuild the tranny once a year just to have overdrive.

nobody said he had to...he said if it comes to it...for daily driveing and people wanting to run 3.73 overdrive is a must for drivablity...
i hardly notice my car is a 11 sec full weight car n/a 3.73 i cut 1.60 n/a
also get 25+ mpg freeway with a huge cam
