Default Vig2800~3600 restall

Who has done this and what kind of gains could I expect? Would a 3600 not pull as hard up top? I actully wanted to buy a Yank tp4400 but I might as well use my restall. I'm just curious of what 1/4 mi.& 60ft gains I might see by switching from 2800 to 3600.

If you really want a PT4400, you ought to consider sending your PI converter to Yank for conversion. Mike can make the upgrade for $275 provided your PI2800 is in good shape. Keep in mind, this would mean you still utilize the Vig lockup clutch as the larger Yank Kevlar Posi-lock clutch is a very expensive upgrade. Basically, for $275, you will get the performance of a Pro Thruster 4400. They'll even repaint the converter Yank red if you like, LOL!

If you decide to get the "free" re-stall from PI (2800 to 3600), you will drop about 2 tenths in the quarter and your mph will increase about 1 mph due to the extra shift extension of the 3600 (even though the efficiency is not as high as the excellent 2800).
