the shipping company misplaced my tranny
i ordered a transmission from pro built automatics a while back and he told me he was boxing it up and shipping it the next day. well almost a month went by and i still hadn't received it so i called him up trying to find out what the deal was. turns out the company he used to ship misplaced my tranny behind some pallets for two weeks!! i don't blame pro built at all but does anyone besides me feel like i shouldn't have to pay the entire $350 for shipping when it gets to me? i feel like somebody wasn't doing their job. thats like paying priority and the post office saying "eh you'll get it when you get it." just kinda annoyed at the moment. this might be the situation when the truck finally gets to me

It happens man. I work at Snap-On tools, and sometimes that happens. It's a bitch, and I can't stand when it happens either. **** that is right, I would dispute it with the manager of the shipping company for free shipping.

ok i must have misunderstood the message on my phone and it was not 350. shipping is from CA to VA. i got a call from alliance air freight today which is 45 minutes away saying it was there ready to be picked up. they said it was only $180. i've never had to ship/pickup anything this big so i don't know what the typical price is. i'm still hung up on paying for someone to lose my stuff for two weeks but im ready to drive so i'll just pay it.
