WS6 a4 here that won't downshift, any help?

 

can you manually up/down shift, or just automatic
do you have access to ATAP or similar logging s/w to see whats going on
is it all speeds/gears/rpms

what do you think guys, the bands glazed, valve, no pressure???

You should have bought a manual if you wanted to downshift your transmission.

 

ummm, autos sorta need to downshift from time to time. you know, AUTOMATICALLY really a great concept once you think about it

 

SES isn't on?

 

please post some more info. are you saying that you'll drive normally, it'll shift normally and it'll never leave 4th gear when you slow down? does the car stall out when you stop? what color is your tranny fluid? more information please.
