4000 stall

4000 stall
I have 2002 firehawk 3200 midwest stall 323 gears cam and heads about 400 rwhp only 1.85 60 fts on mts 11.5 > My ?s is do you think 4000 stall from yank will help.

Everyone here will say yes. A 4000 will work great with your setup. Tell them your mods so they can build one for you. If you buy a 4000 made for a stock LS1 you will likely end up stalling higher.

I am also looking for a 4000, so would a 3800 be better because you said it would stall a little higher?
Vicky at PI told me to get a 3800, but it would flash stall to 4000 is that what you are saying?

what about a shift kit do you think it would help. and how much diff in times do you think a stall at 3200 will be compared to a 3800 or 4000 stall ,and has anyone else run a midwestern stall ? I think i will go with a tci or yank next

Basically with more torque a converter will slip more. So if you get one made for an LS1 and run it with heads/cam etc, its going to stall higher than intended. I would give Yank a call and tell them what you want to do, and your mods, and they will take care of you.
