The 3.23 option also gave folks an aluminum driveshaft. The 2.73 geared A4's received a steel shaft.

Cars with an aftermarket stall will run out quicker because of slippage. With a stock converter you could carry out 3rd at a higher mph. An aftermarket stall will bring it down.

When i had the stock converter I'd hit 130+ in 3rd, now it's just over 120 with a higher rpm limit.

Keeping it in 3rd to see the limits and when you top out.
