I've got a 05' C6 Z51 at the garage along with a box containing headers + x-pipe, cam, pulley,160 thermo, valvetrain components, cold air intake, trans-cooler, trans-go shiftkit and more including a box of 4 Michelin PS2s, which I'm planning to install post-modding the car...
My mechanic advised me to wait until all the parts arrive so he could install it all at once and get it tuned..
Placed my order for a Fuddle converter more than a month and a half ago... I've been e-mailing John and Mellisa since the 4th of may...! I could understand the delay due to their research, development and testing of the converters for the 4L65e, but that was over by the end of may according to and e-mail sent to me from fuddle sometime during end of May...
I've heard a lot of good things about their converters, I just don't know if I could wait any longer..! I mean, I'd feel much more comfortable if I atleast got a status update on the verter I've ordered... Last update I got was mid July where John confirmed that a verter with the specs I've requested is being built and that was about it..
Chasing this up via e-mail, phonecalls, PM's and reading threads like this one takes up at least half an hour of my time each day.. and I am a very busy man! Due to the time difference between the middle-east and wherever fuddle is based at means that I have to stay up late a night to make phonecalls that aren't being answered which eventually lead me to a voice-mail box that's already full.. :-S That makes me sad, and my telecom company quite happy..!
I feel that if I've gone for a Vigilante or a Yank, I could've avoided all of this hassle! I'm a relationship manager at an offshore bank and I know what customer service is all about.. I also know for a fact that if I dealt with my customers the way John is currently dealing with his, I'd be jobless, vetteless and homeless..! I hope he has a good excuse for his behavior and I really hope that he is well and that the rumors about him being in the hospital aren't true...
John: If you get to read this, please PM me the status of my 4L65e 3800/2.5 HP-Series verter..

i found out today that my order placed on 7/21 hasnt even been billed to the credit card almost a month later so i left john an e-mail saying im canceling my order and put a freeze on my credit card

I dont understand why people are just finding out about this. Why didnt they make a note about this on the website and or stop taking orders if it was really that serious? In another thread one guy said he spoke to him and they never mentioned anyone being in the hospital. Why did Melissa quit? If someone wouldve said something months ago I'm sure people wouldve understood and made thier decision from there instead of making plans around something that may or may not come. I wish him the best.
