Default Bad Flexplate? In need of some help quick

Well, after a few weeks of driving around with new full exhaust system, I start to hear a loud clicking coming my car. I was puzzled... It would tick in small incriments at idle, but when i touch the gas just a little bit, it gets faster. Well, I am annoyed with the sound, and figured Id post here asking for some help. Could this be a bad flexplate, or something else? Like, If i listen from the engine bay, I cant hear it at all, but when I fit my head under the car, its coming from the trans. The car has 54k miles, figured I'd toss that in. Thanks in advance!

Can't see why the new exhaust would make the
'plate break coincidently (unless it's a hella good
exhaust ).

Try foot-braking it and hang your head out the
door, if the volume increases w/ pedal then look
for an exhaust leak.

If it's a bad 'plate then removing the inspection
cover and listening in there, should present you
a louder sound.

Yeah, a broken flexplate causes more than just a clicking noise.

Definitely with Jimmy on this one.

The flexplate broke on mine last year ... in 2 places!! Sounded like a can of marbles being shaken underneath my car. After I replaced it (with an aftermarket ... not another factory one ) the car smoothed out ... apparently it was causing a vibration that I had just learned to live with?!

K, I tightened up EVERYTHING, and there is absolutely no leaks anywhere in the exhaust... and the ticking is still there... it doesnt get louder when i tap the gas, it only gets faster. Maybe a tooth broke off the flexplate? I dunno Im clueless.
