Default ***Converter Question***

Will a Yank ST 3500 work in a 2000 Half ton Silverado? I know there will tremendous traction problems, but there will be slicks on the way. Just looking to break 13's.

Yes, the ST3500 for a 4th Gen F-body will work in all trucks using the 3rd gen. small block and a 4L60E tranny. The ST3500 should stall a little lower behind a 2000 5.3L than a 5.7, but only 200 rpms or so. It should be a great converter. Let us know if you do it.

you planning on towing with it? if so you might want to look into a different yank TRUCK converter....or else your tranny will be dead in a day of towing

No more than maybe a 4-wheeler in the bed of the truck. The 2500HD will be for towing.
