Default How big a difference in normal driving with a vig3200 and a vig3600???

I was thinking about getting a vig3200 but then said maybe the vig3600 would be better. From what I hear, you can hardly tell the vig3200 is there untill you step on it. Is it the same with the vig3600 or does it take alot of gas like the ST3500 or a PT4000-4400 would? This would be for a daily driver but I THINK I can handle a lot
thanks
Chris

The 3200 stalls @ 3800. The 3600 @ 4300. No way you want more than a ST3500 or Vig 3200 for street use.

I don't think you can beat the ST3500 with 3.23 and Nitto's..

That kinda performance and you hardly notice it's there. Looks like I'm sold on the vig3600(after I get some money of course)

Chris,

I absolutely agree with 98TAauto...The Vig3600 is a great converter. Mine only has about 1,000 miles on it and it's not loose at all. I put my car in gear and it starts to roll just like my stocker. You won't see that with a Yank St-3500. And the Yank has too many issues with locking up. My Vig.3600 locks up perfectly. It's really the best of both worlds...it's tight enough for a daily driver and it flashes to 4,200 rpm when you need it to race What more could you want. PLus you don't need to drive around in D3 with the Vig. like you do with the Yank ST-3500. Even Mike from Yank tells people to drive in D3. I just put mine in D and leave it there. And i haven't heard of anyone tearing up front pump seals using the Vig. unlike the Yanks. Just my .02

Den

i would look into a 3600 if you really want one . i have a 3200 and it handles great on the street and strip.

best 60' was a 1.55 on nittos in decent weather. was cutting 1.64-.66 last weekend in 92 degree heat with 3/4 tank of gas

These vig convertes 60' times sound awesome. I just got headers so it's gonna be a few months before I can get one since I just got FLPs but the vig3600 sounds like the one I'll get. thanks for the help

just installed vig 3200, i'm the happiest, awesome thing, i just woke the sleeping Giant
and it's my daily driver car, i wouldn't go with 3600, unless you don't car about your mileage
Can't wait go on the track

Are we talking the 'lucky 7' vig 3600?

<----thinking about an upgrade.

Whats the STR on a Vig 3200 and 3600? I was going to order a ST3500 for my 02' Ram Air but I'm worried about lock-up issues. I heard some people complain of lock-up issues with 01-02 A4's

I didn`t notice any loss of MPG with mine... on the highway as long as it`s locked up there` shouldn`t be any change.

I had a vig 3200 and had it re-stalled to 3600...wish I had gone more now. cant tell the difference in the 2. I drive it everyweekend on the street...you wouldnt even know it had a stall unless you had driven one without side by side.
