Vig 2800 vs ST3500

Vig 2800 vs ST3500 I'm caught in the middle between getting a Vig2800 or a ST3500. This car is a daily driver but I go to the track from time to time. I hear the Vig2800 stall a little higher around 3200. I checked out a dyno sheet on the Yank web sight and the Vig2800 performes about the same and a SY3500, but drop off more at higher RPM's. I want to know which one performs better at the track?
Re: Vig 2800 vs ST3500 The Yank ST3500 is more on the performance level with the Vig 3200 (which actually stalls 3800). It would flat walk away from the tighter Vig 2800. I have a ST3500 in my daily driven SS convertible. It's the best converter I've ever had as far as balancing street manners and raw speed.

Re: Vig 2800 vs ST3500 I had a vig 2800 for a while and it really is a great little converter. If I were to go back and make my car a daily driver I'd think mighty hard about getting another one. The 3500 might outperform it a little but it holds it own pretty dang well. Very efficient and pretty tight yet flashes a little above 3k. Either one would do great.
