are you going up hill or lugging the engine in od. If so pop it in D and it should go away(or less).

Use a scanner to see if your getting any misfires. If the PCM detects misfires it will un-lock the converter. See if you have any pending codes and than see if you should get rid of them via tuning

Sounds like random misfires due to reduced flywheel effect to me. Have misfire detection turned off, I bet it fixes the problem

It could be misfires or it could also be you are low on fluid. Check to make sure your fluid is all the way to the top of the hot mark on the tranny dipstick while the car is still running in park.

If you changed the cam and didn't get the misfire code removed via programming then that's your problem.

a ported MAF will cause locking and unlocking issues while driving also. if you put the stock one back in its a easy fix(worth a shot)

but more than likely you have the same prob as i did. I would be driving and out of the blue it unlocks, goes for 2 mins, then locks back. Somedays it wouldnt do it, others every 5-10 miles.

i just used edit and changed this

under engine diagnostic you go to test parameters and change the Max Misfire detection to 140 and the Min to 139 then you will have no more probs at all.. mines 100% fine now
