Dacco Converters?

Any experience? Reply accordingly. I am picking up a converter this month and considering cheaping out. Its either cheaping out or getting a vigilante.

Don't cheap out on the converter. I run a Yank after a lesser converter crapped out...twice, taking part of the tranny with it hte second time.

I still say go Yank or Vig.

Ive seen several crap out and take the rest of the tranny with em. Lots of metal in the oil is a bad thing!

i've heard guys swear by them. but i've yet to hear of a ls1 fbody guy use them. I don't know what to tell you. They sound like they have a really good rep. from all i've heard from. I almost got one, but went with TCI.

dont go cheap!!! i got a fuddle and its done after only 2 or 3k miles...and i think they closed up shop...now im going with a yank or vig dont know which yet....im gonna have more money in it now than i would have if i would have just went with one of them in the first place

I know of a couple people who run dacco's in their strip cars.... I was gonna call about one for my truck but they told me that they didnt have any converters for 60E's with lock up clutches... I got tired of looking so I got a 9.5" PI Vig 3200 triple disk.... and a FLT-5 65E.... problems solved.
