Default TH400 conversion problem

I just had my 6 speed swaped for a TH400. Now I can't rev my car past 6200rpms.
It's a heads and cam car that had no problem reving to 7k prior to the swap. The tranny is a RMVB and has the same fuel cutout problem in neutural and park.
What could have caused this? It's not throwing any engine codes. Need some help fast.
Thanks

Getting rid of the six speed is going to throw codes (like missing rev lock out solenoid circuit, missing cags solenoid circuit, etc) so I'm thinking you had those deleted? Maybe when that was done they changed the rev limiter somehow.

None of those codes. I have VSS code. And my air bag light is lit due to removing the sensor.
I had the PCM swaped a few months ago and Hardcore retuned it. It was a PCM from an automatic so they had to delete a lot of codes. I guess the only way to find out is to find someone locally with autotap.

The ECM is defaulting to the Bad VSS RPM Limiter. You need to raise those to match your In Gear RPM Limiters. One good trick is to match all of your Limiters to one RPM, to avoid this situation. You can also delete the Bad VSS code. Anyone with a tuning suite (like HPTuners) can fix this for you.
