Default TH400 Converter Cover

Does anyone make a cover or anything that covers up the torque converter and flexplate when you install a th400 on an ls1...other than the yank cutom conversion bellhousing is there anyway to enclose the exposed torque converter????

Yeah, GM does. My 1500HD has a 4L80E and it has a cast aluminum piece that covers the converter area. I do not know the part number, but you should be able to get it from a dealership ... the part number that is.

i bought one off jegs but you need to do a little cutting and retapping for screws but you can get it to work with a little patience and some basic tools

I have a JW ultrabell and no provisions for a cover.
It does not see rain or anything like that so I don't worry about it.
Should be easy enough to make one of the aftermarket ones work with very little work on a stock bell.
