Default How hard is it to install a converter?

I just bought a vig 2800 and would like to save the money. Is there anything special I need to know about installing this converter? Will I need a trans cooler with this converter? Should I use a shift kit with this converter? What tools will I need? What would be a guesstimate on the time required to do this job? The convertir is used, do I still need to do a break in? I know this is alot of question and I appriciate all of you help in advance.
Thanks, Larry

Check out the link below.

Torque converter install

This is the guide I used to install my Vig2800. I installed a cooler and it keeps my trans temps below 180 even at the track in 95-degree heat. The shift kit is a matter of personal preference. Your shifts will be softer with the new converter. I like crisp shifts so I had one installed.
