i think i have a trans problem there is a knocking noise ..seems to come from the trans ....when i do a wot burnout its fine...half throtle or 3/4 especially when comin out of it and the tires are startin to hook up..its not the rev limiter..just a quick knocking noise...has this happened to anyone???

i just looked in my driveway and there's a 2/2 foot puddle of tranny fluid ....when i looked underneath there was fluid drippin from a small black box...don't know what it is...can anyone tell me what this is from

Verdad Gallardo I'll bet you have a broken tail housing. Is the "black box" on the drivers side rear of the trans? Pic's would be good but by reading your posts this is what it sounds like to me.Vince

i'll get some pics tommorow....i really can't get a good look at it due to the fact of no jacks ....it could be commin from where the driveshaft and the tranny meets ...i dont' know if thats what the tailhousing is ...but its not dripping...the parts underneath it are....like i said i'll get some pics tommorow to give everyone a better idea

oh ya ..that knocking noise it feels like something is goin to pop through the console....also the black box is hard to get a good look at its right next to the exhaust on the passenger side
