Cracked Flywheel on an A4
Cracked Flywheel on an A4 Just had my PY3600E installed and when the tranny was taken out we discovered that the flywheel at 3, a little over an inch, cracks in the flywheel from the outer edge heading for each TC bolt hole.
THIS IS WITH ONLY 12,500 MILES ON THE ODO. AND THE MODS LISTED BELOW WITHOUT THE PY3600E AND TORQUE ARM!

Re: Cracked Flywheel on an A4 Get a 98 or 99 flexplate. The original in my car came apart (330 mark <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> ) wasn't pretty.
The older flexplates are made alot better. I think GM tried to "lighten" up the newer ones.. unfortunitly they have "issues"
