Check with Yank/Graestar, they have a full manual or auto valve body that can include a transbrake that is in final testing

Man I would love for a manual transbrake for my 4l80. Please let me know guys. I also sent you a PM on my Pro Yank. Do you have any idea when the transbrake for the manual valve body will be ready? I called rossler when I was doing the conversion from m6 to 4l80 and he hadnt even started the testing phase yet.

I used the B&M mega shifter. Came out perfect for my six speed console! Even the boot clips right in.

Yank converter, stock A4 shifter (I would like this), RPM built 4L80E, electronic (not vacuum modulated), and Rossler TransBrake.

Yank's 4l80-e manual valve body has beed used for years in our off-road Baja and Paris to Dakar race trucks and the transbrake is in the final machining state.

I did this conversion. Be careful on who does the converter. Make sure they are aware of your HP goals. Any good 4L80ebconverter is going to cost a about a grand with a Heavy duty stator.

very true......also, I HIGHLY recommend looking into the multiple disc converters....... I killed a couple of lockup clutches using only single disk, and locking up under high HP

I talked to (Jerry) Cablebandit about the guy who does his 4L80E in Georgia I believe and I called him up. He is very knowledgable and I plan to do the dump for the 4l80E setup this winter. I live in Arkansas so I may just go down to yank and check them out. Mightmouse I am not planning on making the power your making but I should be in the 650-700RWHP range with my 383 LT4 , D1SC, 216 AFR heads, 224/230 114 LSA cam motor with the 4L80E Trans.

This is what I plan on getting
Built 4l80E from Jim (I think thats his name) He also told me he would cut the taps on the side of the tranny so it would bolt up to my LT4 setup?
Yank converter ( I see alot of FI guys going with that Pro yank converter????)
Speed engineering Driveshaft (Good fro 800hp)
BMR Crossmember
TCI 4l80E controll Box
Lokar dipstick

Do I need a new Fylwheel or can they make it work with the converter???
And I believe I can reuse the stockshifter setup for the 4L60E in the car.
Do I need anything else.

SShotrod, how far away is that place from Memphis, TN?? I am about an hour and half from Memphis and I need some help putting my cam in and degreeing it along with assembling the top end. I have never done it before and I don't want to do it myself and mess something up 15,000+ down the drain if I mess up
