Default Just a quick ?

When I purchase my LS1 camaro or trans am this summer, most likely it will be a 98 or 99 with an A4, how will I know what rear end is in it? Will the manual say? Any help would be great, thanks...

Stock A4 is either GU2 (2.73) or GU5 (3.23) RPO code on the driver's side door, manual won't tell you. Can't always go by the codes either though, mine says GU2 but replaced them with 3.42's.
