Lock-up questions
I had misfires before which caused lock-up problems. I fixed that problem, it was in the spark plug wires, and actually had the limit of misfires that would cause the converter to unlock set to max, so that is definetly not an issue.
Now the only time my converter decides to not lock up at all, other than when I go to 0 acceloration is when the P1870 comes back.
when locked and my converter is cruising without throttle at say 1200 at 45, f I try to lightly accelerate the rpms will jump up to about 1800 by themselves and stay there while the car accelorates. THis does not reflect what you mentioned should be happening. What does this mean?
