Installed but not tested (Poly Motor Mount)
Well, I figured somebody has to be the guinea pig. I bought two Poly motor mounts for an LT1 F-car, the four bolt one PN 3.1116R. These fit in the clamshell perfectly, however they are .3" narrower front to back. With 3 washers they fit perfectly. They are very tight and it will be interesting to see how much vibration they transmit to the chassis. I am waiting on a new TC to get here in the mail before it goes all back together.
I'll keep everyone informed.

Do a search in ext engine. Both Ryan and myself are running the poly motor mounts now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Been running them for a while now, They are fantastic. No problems whatsoever. Its a long install with the motor in the car but IMO worth it. If you are pulling the motor out, its a no brainer.

Pros:
Stiffer means of mounting engine. Less engine motion under loading (helps prevent y-pipe banging common with alot of headers) and will transmit more torque to the driveline instead of twisting the engine.
Con:
Can transmit a bit more vibration to the chassis but ALOT less than solid motor mounts.
