We actually tell our customers to please return the line presure to stock , Though raising line will firm shifs its our opinion anything other than a modest line increase is asking for trouble. volume is the way to firm shifts and shift kits do that , Then you couple that with turning up the presure at the PCS which many do some a litte 1/4 turn which is fine and what we do, and some much more .Then multiply that by the presure increase during tuning and the amazing part is that it dosnt break everything.Or have all sorts of problems lockup coming on when not comanded, cross leaks ect

This is true they are some cars seem to work fine with the line maxed , I imagine it has to do with the solenoid feeds and venting abilites, but others it appears cant , Im going to look in to if anyone make a solenoid with larger orifice

I am not sure about the line pressure. I am still waiting to get a copy of my tuning from the place I had it done.

So, I am not sure what they did to this. I am trying to get on Sean's Dyno if he can fit me in tomorrow afternoon after like 1:30pm?

Yea, don't forget the 2-3 shift MPH was WAY TO HIGH, 65MPH. So, it was actually either or. It would never shift at that MPH with my setup.

It took Sean at Collins Automotive less than 5 mins to fix wht the tuner couldn't figure out.

even if it had reached the 2-3 upshift speed the downshift speed would have held the shift.

No ****. You bought 2 new transmissions for a 5 minute fix. Glad its fixed Bill. Lets see how mine is. Hopefully the new trans solves the problem if it ever gets here. UPS still can't find where they put it over a week and a half ago.

I guess Collins gets your fity.

I have left the tuners name out of this because I want to give them a chance to make it right. I know people make mistakes. It's all in how you are treated after the mistake happens.

I paid not only the $$$$$ for the tune. I also paid for a trans I didn't need. I have had tons of people asking who tuned this. I just want my money back for the tune. I will just have to live with the fact that I have a trans that I didn't need.

No threat but if I don't get taken care of the tuners name will be realeased. I think that is only fair!

Thanks for everyones input.

Oh yea, as a bonus the tuner put the wrong sized tire in the tune. So, the list of the tuners mistakes look like the following so far (See File Attached):

1. 2-3 up shift set to high 65MPH

2. 3-2 down shift set higher than 2-3 up shift.

3. Tire size was set wrong, to big.

That was what has been discoved so far.

Thanks,

Bill

I would HIGHLY urge you to take your car to Sean at Collins Auto. Great guy to work with. I had to laugh or I would have cried (LOL) at how fast he found things wrong with the program.

I still can't believe that I am out $1,600 + for a trans I didn't need.

Keep me informed on your trans. I am going to finally get to the track (Lapeer) the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

We will see what happens.

Later,

Bill
