Auto 4L60E Trans Question
Auto 4L60E Trans Question For a future upgrade to a trans in my 94 Z28, 350 Lt1 with some mods...I will be putting a 3000-3500 stall
Am asking if I should go with a Trans-Go shift kit....and will this allow me to up and down shift as needed or will I still just leave it in drive and run it thru the gears...
This car has had ecm programing ...red line, shift points and I believe that the line pressure has been changed in the tables
looking for any help to aid in this not a EVERY day driver only in good weather and when wanted...little strip time

Transgo makes a "Reprogramming kit with the manual valve body". The Reprogramming kits are different than just a regular shift kit. Its recommended to have it done by a tranny shop. This kit would allow you to manually shift the gears. My transgo kit is the HD2 Reprogramming kit, and it doesn't have the manual valve body. I didn't think the manual valve body would be beneficial for me on a DD, plus my car will let me start out in first or second gear anyways.
