hitting the rev limiter
for the car to shift it has to hit BOTH the rpm and the mph threshhold. the last one it hits will make the car shift. if it hits the rpm threshhold and still didn't satisfy the mph it won't shift, and you hitting the limiter probably means it STILL didn't hit the desired mph and the limiter came into play.
on the juice i had my mph tables conciderably lower than on motor, since it pulled more rpms at a given mph.
