Default 4l60e WHAT THE!!!

i have taken off everything all 9 bolts out of the transmission driveshaft crossmember you name it bolts from flywheel/convertor and it acts like the transmission is welded to the motor? any ideas?

try wiggling it agressivly by had sometimes the bell kinda weilds to the dowel pins from corosion

another vote for dowel pins, if the tranny has been in a really long time they can get rusted/corroded in there pretty good, spray some pb blaster on those bad boys and let it sit

That stuff is good have used it many times we used to joke that it allmost turn the bolts out by itself lol

GM heat valve lubricant on the dowel pins. Either that or use some PB blaster and let it sit overnight. I sometimes have to use a pry bar to wiggle the trans to get them loose.

I had the same problem, I used a prybar to get it off the one dowel that was rusted.

i've found that the best is take the plastic cover loose(one 10 mm socket) on the drivers side loose and get a big pry bar in there, seems to be the best place to pry. Its probably just stuck like everyone else said.
