torque management

who has deleted thier torque management on a stock tranny? any problems?
any info would be helpfull.

I have it deleted on both cars, no problems realted to removing TM alone.. it does put more stress on the tranny through shifts..

see everybody says delete. but i could have swore in a car craft mag they said dont delete the TM.

After installing a shift kit in my 2001 formula I HAD to delete it.

I think it really depends on the car. On mine I saw no difference with or without it. On a friends car, after he installed a converter....it was terrible. Car ran like **** until it was deleted. We actually were starting to wonder if he got a bad converter.

Mine has been about 85% gone since I first had the car tuned almost 2 years ago. No problems since, even with the stall.

I would do it but not on a 100% bone stock GM transmission. Get the TransGo HD2 kit in there.

I deleted TM on mine forever ago. The transmission dying I contributed to sparying out of the hole and through shifts on a stock transmission, not TM deletion.

I've now got a level 3 trans, and no issues.
