burnt smelling!

burnt smelling! my 94 has a 4L60E and i do not know whats wrong with it if its just the servos or in need of a rebuild. it has terrrrrrrrrrrrrrible 1-2 2-3 shifts. its slips like crazy i can litteraly hit it and the rpm's jump with no tire spin? its hard to get going from a stop. and i smelled by the tranny dipstick and it smells burnt? i dont know if that bad or not! please help

That is not good. If the fluid is burnt looking and burnt smelling there is only one thing that can be done. If symptoms exist launching the vehicle and in multiple gears then there is not much hope... it needs to come out and get rebuilt.
Do you run an aftermarket cooler? You should if not.

Yes you have a dead trans it sounds like , and are going to need a rebuild or a unit,

Well we do have shop in PA but i dont know how close you are and as for you shipping yours to us ect that would take up lots of your time , Its simpler just to let us ship you one is will go right in an your done , We do not require cores on these units or charge a core charge and shipping is included in those prices
