I would like to know what you guys are running for str's. Im shooting to get on the top 10 for cam-only record. I want a 4900 stall and will be launching off ofthe brake (th350). What size should i get 9" ? Whats the cons of going with an 8" ?

I just read a post by yank that a str above 1.8 launching off of the brake will smoke the tires about all of the time. Come some1 give some insight ?

i have a tci ssf 4400 2.8 str that my buddy had and he did pretty good with it.

spanky you ran a 12.6 with just a lid and a muffler?? even on street tires with tread that seems pretty damn good that's basically stock.
